Delivery integrations
By default everything stays on your Mac. Delivery integrations (Settings → Delivery) let you also forward events to a destination you control — never to Amrah Studio.
Two integrations are built in:
- Webhooks — POST events to any HTTPS URL (your server, an automation tool, a self-hosted endpoint).
- Telegram alerts — get a private message and photo through a Telegram bot you create.
What gets sent, and when
Section titled “What gets sent, and when”You choose which events to forward: armed, disarmed, trigger, and capture. For capture events you can include the photo.
- Capture events are durable — queued and retried, so your evidence survives a temporarily offline endpoint.
- Armed / disarmed / trigger events are best-effort — sent immediately and dropped if the endpoint is unreachable (a stale “armed” later isn’t useful).
Telegram delayed alerts are labeled as delayed when they are sent after your Mac comes back online. MacWatcher sends a summary first so old queued photos are not confused with real-time alerts.
Delivery is entirely optional and goes only to the destinations you configure.
