Updating MacWatcher
MacWatcher checks for new versions and lets you know when one is available.
How updates work
Section titled “How updates work”- The app periodically checks our update feed. When a newer version exists, it shows a notice with the release notes and a download link.
- Click through to download the new DMG, then drag the new MacWatcher over the old one in Applications.
- Every release is signed and notarized by Apple, so it opens cleanly.
Paid upgrades
Section titled “Paid upgrades”A one-time license is perpetual for the major version you bought. If a future major version is a paid upgrade, the app will tell you and offer Upgrade — your current version keeps working.
Check manually
Section titled “Check manually”You can trigger a check from the app (About / General). If you’re offline, the check simply does nothing until you’re back online.
